Early Neanderthals hunted ibex on steep mountain slopes

Ancient remains from a cave in Serbia show that Neanderthals were hunting mountain goats 300,000 years ago, adding to evidence of their ability to adapt to different environments

Did the early Neanderthals hunt Ibex sheep  many years ago? According to research, they did that,  but according to the Bible, they were descendants of Adam and Noah as secular scientists do not believe in Noah’s Flood. That also minimize the dates of the global flood.

Nearly 300,000 years ago, Neanderthals had already figured out how to hunt mountain goats along vertical cliffs and process them in well-organised camps.

Known for ambushing large animals in Western Europe’s flat meadows and forests, it seems Neanderthals adapted to the hills of Eastern Europe by adding nimble ibex to their hunting regime. The early humans skinned and butchered the animals in a nearby cave before roasting their bones for marrow and grease, showing impressive skill and knowledge far earlier than expected, says Stefan Milošević at the University of Belgrade in Serbia.

Deflecting a deadly asteroid just got a lot less dangerous

Hitting an asteroid in the wrong place could accidentally make it more likely to impact Earth. Image courtesy of  buradaki/Shutterstock

Joel Kontinen

Our first attempt at shifting the orbit of an asteroid has provided crucial insight into how we could safely deflect a space rock that was hurtling towards Earth.

Some space rocks can be nasty. According to evolution, the asteroids caused the demise of the dinosaurs. That event was probably related to Noah's flood that caused some dino's and many other animals to die.

If an the asteroid was heading for a deadly impact with Earth, could we nudge it off course safely without making the situation worse? Yes, thanks to a new system for calculating the perfect spot to smack a space craft into an incoming asteroid.

Steering away an asteroid bound for Earth is a high-stakes endeavour, and we have not had much practice. In 2023, NASA’s Double Asteroid Redirection Test (DART) showed for the first time that we can divert a space rock by smashing a small proband e into the tiny asteroid Dimorphos, which orbits a larger asteroid called Didymos, and changing its orbit by 30 minutes.

How a single gopher restored a landscape devastated by a volcano

Never underestimate what a single gopher can achieve in a day: one of the burrowing mammals helped boost soil fungi in an area blanketed by ash from the explosive eruption of Mount St Helens.

In 1980, the volcano mount St Helens erupted, which was a catastrophe, It also was a testimony to the effects of Noah’s Flood, as it showed that  sediments could grow up fast.

Two years after Mount St Helens erupted in 1980, a team of researchers helicoptered in a gopher to the ash-covered landscape. Decades later, the activity of that single gopher burrowing for a single day may have helped the decimated ecosystem regrow by boosting the diversity of soil fungi.

“There’s something to be said about learning lessons from the gophers,” says Mia Maltz at the University of Connecticut, who has used the eruption to understand how forests might recover from other stresses – including wildfires.

Hippos are sun loving animals, but in England some 100 hippo fossils have been recovered during the Ice Age.

This is hard thing for evolution, since hippos cannot live so far from the tropics, but it can explained by the effects of Noah’s flood.

Evolutionists believe hat that there were multiple ice ages, In the in the last ice ages, a fossil of a the a mummified wolf was found in Siberia, after being locked away for more than 44,000 years. Scientists have now completed a necropsy (an animal autopsy) on the ancient predator, which was discovered by a river in the Republic of Sakha — also known as Yakutia — in 2021.

But the ice age was brought about by Noah’s Flood, So that there is  no  way a second one could infect the world.

“Researchers took samples of the wolf's internal organs and gastrointestinal tract to detect ancient viruses and microbiota, and to understand its diet when it died. Soft tissues are dehydrated, allowing the body to be preserved in a frozen time capsule.”

Fossil discovered in 1989 found to be new species of aetosaur — a massive armored crocodile Cousin That Lived During The Late Triassic.

What kind of animals did the dinosaur era contain?

“Huge armored crocodile cousin with plates embedded in its skin and curved spikes along its flanks roamed our planet 215 million years ago,” evolution believing scientists reveal.

The timing of the found is spurious, It probably found its death in the flood of Noah’s day.

A Russian expedition has found mammoth bones 990  kilometres or   615 miles north of the Artic Circle.

It is the northernmost evidence of Paleolithic humans ever found.

The climate was also milder than it is today,  Researchers say that the people hunted woolly mammals.

According to evolutionists, in the Pleistocene occurred between 2, 5 2.6 million and 11,700 years ago, that is a misnomer as they failed to take the Flood that occurred at the time of Noah into consideration.

Scientist Found 100,000 Year-Old Neanderthal Footprints

Image courtesy of Mayoral et al./Scientific Reports)

 Joel Kontinen

The study of neanderthal children was published by Eduardo Mayoral, a paleontologist at the University of Huelva and lead author of the study, online March 11 in the journal Scientific Reports.

In 2020, two biologists discovered the tracks on Matalascañas beach, in Doñana National Park after a period of intense storms and high tides

Of particular interest are the two smallest footprints, approximately 14 centimetres, or6 inches long that are thought to have been made by a child about 6 years old.

Neanderthals were the ape men of the late 18th century and early 19th century, but scientists have re-invented the category, According to creationists, the Neanderthals were the post.flood descendants oF Noah,

In the model based on Genesis, Neanderthals are descendants of Noah.

They mostly lived in caves during the harsh ice age winters after the global flood, but they obviously also knew how to sail.

There’s a place in Idaho, that evolutionists do not want you to hear about.  It is the nesting place of leaves purported to be 16 million years old, but they still contain DNA.

The leaves contain their colour, odour and even the DNA . They cannot be millions of years old, The author Bruce Malone  says that there as old as Noah’s Flood that occur only thousands of years ago.

Noah’s Flood explains why a Jurassic predator ate its meal and died as it did so

Joel Kontinen

The vampire squid is a living fossil that have never changed much during the 180 million years according to evolutionists it has existed.

However, the time of the death is the time of Noah’s Flood, approximately 4,500 years ago.

The shale slab holding this duo's fossilized remains preserved imprints of their soft tissues in "exceptional" detail, the researchers wrote in the study, published online March 16 in the Swiss Journal of Palaeontology. An analysis of the slab reveals that their last moments together ended in an "eternal embrace," the team said.

This means that they lived together at the flood time, .Many fossils have been found snatching their meal, which means that the flood took them away unexpectedly.

Evolutionists Claim They Caught A 100 Million Year Old Flower It After Its Blossomed

Image courtesy of3George Poinar Jr./OS, fair use doctrine.

Joel Kontinen

Evolutionists have found a new species in the Myanmar, called the Valviloculus pleristaminis. They say it is a 100 million years old, yet in resembles the blackheart sassafras found in AustraliaAnd this makes the flower interesting  because Australia lies 4,000 kilometres from Myanmar. The flower was trapped in resin from an extinct tree and it is only 2 millimetres across, but has 50 stamens arranged in a beautiful spiral.

Accoding to George Poinar Jr., a paleontologist with OSU's Department of Integrative Biology Poinar, author of a report on the discovery in the Journal of the Botanical Research Institute of Texas.,

The true story of the flood is a more easy way to explain the idea. Resin comes from treed that were usual after Noah’s Flood.

An Organ That Helps Birds Detect Sounds

Image courtesy of the Maungatautari Ecological Island Trust, public domain

Joel Kontinen

An organ that allows some birds to detect the movement of hidden prey by plunging their beaks into the ground seems to have been present in early birds 70 million years ago, and probably first appeared in their dinosaur ancestors.

It probably arose during the fall of man, when animals were also affected and diseased.

Special “remote touch” sensory receptors known as Herbst corpuscles, which are found within densely packed pits in the beak’s tip, help birds detect the movement of worms in soil or small fish in water – even several centimetres away from the beak. This effectively gives birds a “sixth sense”, according to Carla du Toit at the University of Cape Town in South Africa and her colleagues.

To work out when the sixth sense evolved, du Toit and her colleagues studied the beaks of hundreds of modern and ancient birds,  including four species of lithornithids, an extinct group of birds that lived alongside dinosaurs during the Cretaceous period.

Lithornithids belong to one of the two major types of birds alive today, the palaeognaths, which include kiwis, ostriches and emus.  The other major group is the neognaths.

By examining specimens of modern birds, the researchers identified distinct pitting patterns in the beak associated with Herbst corpuscles, says du Toit. The team then found those same patterns in lithornithid fossil beaks, which suggests that lithornithids had the same sensory abilities and were probe-foraging birds.

The discovery makes sense because Herbst corpuscles are found in both palaeognaths and neognaths. The two groups separated from one another more than “70 million years” ago, which would suggest that Herbst corpuscles evolved in the common ancestor of both bird groups.

That millions of years is based on not taking the Noah’s Flood into consideration.

In fact, the sensory structures might have evolved in dinosaurs, says du Toit. A “sixth sense” feature might have helped carnivorous theropods such as Neovenator find prey by probing their snouts into mud or murky water, she says.

The researchers hope in future to find if the pitting was present in the beaks of an ancient group of winged reptiles, the pterosaurs. However, the poor quality of most fossils make such an analysis difficult, says du Toit.

Dinosaurs could swim to Africa

Image courtesy of Daniel Eskridge/Alamy, fair use doctrine.

Joel Kontinen

The origin of South American monkeys is a big mystery for Darwinist, Now, for the first time, the fossil remains of a duck-billed dinosaur have been found in Africa. The discovery suggests that dinosaurs sometimes swam across wide oceans, and were more capable in water than we thought.

“As best we can tell, dinosaurs swam across ocean barriers,” says Nicholas Longrich at the University of Bath in the UK.

Duck-billed dinosaurs, or hadrosaurs, were common towards the end of the dinosaur era. They were large animals that mostly ate plants. The bones in their snouts were flattened, giving them a duck-like appearance.

Abetter explanation for Dinosaur's swimming skills  is their ability to repopulate the world, after Noahs Flood.

Who Killed The TrilobItes?

Joel Kontinen

Evolutionists claim that ”trilobites are weird creatures, who looked like  giant swimming potato bugs wearing helmets, and lived on Earth for a whopping 270 million years . These armoured invertebrates, whose species once numbered in the thousands, thrived in the oceans as they scavenged and dug for food, and even managed to survive two mass extinctions.

But about 252 million years ago, trilobites disappeared from the fossil record. What finally wiped out this class of resilient bottom dwellers? “

Then

The trilobite's disappearance coincided with the end-Permian extinction (also known as the Permian-Triassic extinction), the third and the most devastating mass extinction event. Volcanic eruptions in Siberia spewed enormous amounts of lava for around 2 million years, according to Melanie Hopkins, an associate curator of paleontology at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City. These fiery eruptions sent trillions of tons of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, triggering ocean acidification, which in turn made it very difficult for marine animals to survive, according to a 2010 paper published in the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. Up to 95% of marine species succumbed to the end-Permian extinction, also known as the Great Dying, including the trilobites.”

However, I think that  Noah's flood killed off much of the trilobites. It was probable associated with volcanic eruptions that likely also had an effect on animals.

Sahara Was Once Wet

Joel Kontinen

The Sahara was once wet.

“Sometime between 11,000 and 5,000 years ago, after the last ice age ended, the Sahara Desert transformed. Green vegetation grew atop the sandy dunes and increased rainfall turned arid caverns into lakes. About 9 million square kilometers or 3.5 million square miles of Northern Africa turned green, drawing in animals such as hippos, antelopes, elephants and aurochs (wild ancestors of domesticated cattle), who feasted on its thriving grasses and shrubs. This lush paradise is long gone, but could it ever return?

However, a much better explanation is the flood of  Noah’s time roughly 4,500 years ago

Evolutionist claim that” the Green Sahara, also known as the African Humid Period, was caused by the Earth's constantly changing orbital rotation around its axis, a pattern that repeats itself every 23,000 years, according to Kathleen Johnson, an associate professor of Earth systems at the University of California Irvine.

This is based on the faulty teachings  of  Milankovitch cycles(i.e. changes in the Earth's orbit around the Sun), They are unable to explain why our planet would have had an ice age.

Noah’s Flood May Account For A River 1,600 Kilometres (1,000 Miles) Long Spotted Under The Ice In Greenland

Image courtesy of Christopher Chambers et al, Fair Use Doctrine.

Joel Kontinen

Many geological discoveries suggest that our planet was once much warmer than it is now. We have read of Arctic dinosaur fossils, camel fossils in Canada, pollen from tropical trees in Antarctica and a fossilised tropical forest in Norway, to name just a few examples.

A new study shows frozen rivers beneath Greenland’s ice sheets.

Now, a study showing that a frozen river 1,600 kilometres or 1,000 miles long to be flowing under Greenland’s ice sheet has just been pronounced at the annual meeting of the American Geophysical Union (AGU). "Christopher Chambers, a researcher at Hokkaido University in Sapporo, Japan. Chambers and his colleagues created simulations to explore the valley at different depths and model how water might melt from the surface of a glacier to the depths below — perhaps creating a flowing river, Chambers said. He presented their findings on Dec. 9 here at the annual meeting of the American Geophysical Union (AGU).

Giant Pterosaur Described in Canada

Image courtesy of PaleoEquii, CC BY-SA 4.0.

Joel Kontinen

A newly described species of giant pterosaur, called Cryodrakon boreas, has been discovered in Canada.

It had the a wingspan extending about 10 meters (33 feet) from tip to tip, “making it comparable in size to its monstrous azhdarchid cousin Quetzalcoatlus, researchers reported in a new study.”

Secular scientist believe it lived some 77 million to 74 million years ago during the Cretaceous period.

fossils form when there are “buried in layers of sediment and locked away from bacteria that break down organic matter.”.

Many of the best-preserved remains from millions of years ago belonged to animals that lived near seas or rivers, and pterosaurs at this time (including Cryodrakon) mostly lived inland, David Hone explained.

"And their bones are insanely thin, so they are very rare," he added. "We're lucky we have as much good material as we do
."

Big animals were not thought to live near the poles. The general way with them driving into the North could be the Flood of Noah’s time.

The findings were published online September 9 in the Journal of Vertebrate Paleontology.

Sparrow from Dinosaur Times

Image courtesy of Zhongda Zhang / Current Biology.

Joel Kontinen

Current Biology has published data on one of the “first” case of a sparrow. It was dated at 99 million years ago.

However According to a Science articles, all Burmese dates entombed in amber rely on a single date. This is something that the researchers should thing about. Nonetheless, for instance National Geographic had this to say:

One of these ancient fliers might resemble a modern sparrow—except for its bizarrely long toes, an adaptation never before seen in any bird, living or dead.

The newly described bird, Elektorornis chenguangi, was found entombed within less than six grams of amber, scientists report today
.”

Yes, a sparrow was found in the age of the dinosaurs. It looked like a sparrow, and it probably also acted like one.

They claim that the region from where the fossil was found “was home to coastal forests full of trees that oozed tree resin.”

I would say that it speaks more of Noah’s Flood. It has left reminiscences everywhere, for instance the Heavitree Gap in Australia.

Aquifers in the Atlantic – Might Speak about Noah’s Flood

Image courtesy of Gustafson et al., 2019; CC BY 4.0.

Joel Kontinen

A new study shows that there is a gigantic freshwater aquifer below the Atlantic ocean.

While the aquifer's exact size is still a mystery, it may be the largest of its kind, taking up a region stretching from at least Massachusetts to southern New Jersey, or 350 kilometres (or nearly 220 miles). The area includes the coastlines of New York, Connecticut and Rhode Island. This aquifer may contain about 2,800 cubic kilometres (670 cubic miles) of slightly salty water.

The cause of this aquifer is murky: scientist say that it likely came into being some 20,000 – 15,000 years ago, during the ice age.

The study was published online June 18 in the journal Scientific Reports.

There is a more special emphases for this, the flood of Noah’s days has also left acquifers (huge lake under the Andes, the semi/deserts of Northern Kenya, ice river flowing below the ice in Greenland.

Yes, popular scientist are asking: Does Earth make its own water?

When we take a look at God’s book of guidance –- it is very possible it does.

Fish Showed Coordinated Group Behaviour at Least “50 Million Years” Ago

Image courtesy of Mizumoto et al./Proceedings of the Royal Society B.

Joel Kontinen

Fish of the species Erismatopterus levatus swam in unison, as modern fish do today.

These 259 baby fish were seen by Arizona researchers, who reported in it in the journal Proceedings of the Royal Society B. They thought that the fish probably originated from America's Green River Formation, where fish between "53 million and 48 million years ago" are thought to exist.

"’ We found traces of two rules for social interaction similar to those used by extant fishes: repulsion from close individuals and attraction towards neighbours at a distance,’ the researchers wrote in their study.”

This synchronized swimming might have saved the fish from a predator, although it did not prevent them from becoming a fossil for us to see.

They might have well perished in the flood of Noah’s Time, as the research shows that “have been cut short by an underwater avalanche of sand.“

There is much evidence for the flood in Australia for example and graveyards almost everywhere.
