This year, the Creation Super Conference will be held at the Muskoka Bible Conference Centre, a two hours’ drive from Toronto, Canada.

Evolutionists would claim that humans share a common ancestor with apes. But regardless of what they might believe, an unbridgeable chasm separates us from all animals.

It does not only have to do with biology but also with our mental skills, our creativity. Moreover, only humans can worship and fellowship with their Creator.

What do you get if you give monkeys a typewriter or computer in the hope that they would type Shakespeare’s collected works?

Some Darwinists have suggested that with enough time, anything could happen.

A scientific study attempted to examine what monkeys would do with a computer. The result: five pages of nonsense and a very dirty computer, as this brief video produced by Creation Ministries International shows:

CMI’s Creation 2013 Supercamp Attracted Hundreds of Participants

This year, Creation Ministries International’s Superconference was held on PHIllip Islandil near Melbourne.

The event began on Monday, 7th January and continued until Friday, the 11th. Roughly 800 people attended the conference each day.

The highlights of the conference included Dr. Rob Carter’s talk on corals and the high-tech cell, Mark Harwood’s lecture on the uniqueness of our solar system, Dr. John Harnett’s critique of big bang cosmology and Dr. Darrrell Fergusson’s lecture on current ideologies and worldviews.

Over 430 Mammal Species Lived during the Dinosaur Era

Natural history museums do not usually display mammals and birds together with dinosaurs. It is difficult for museums that are devoted to spreading the dogma of naturalistic evolution to acknowledge that, as a rule, animals tend to resist change.

At the Creation 2012 Super Conference in North Carolina, doctor Carl Werner said that he had examined the fossil collections of over 60 natural history museums and had gone to ten dig sites to see what the dino era fauna really looked like.

The result was a big surprise.

At least 432 mammal species are known to have lived during the dino era. The number is surprisingly high, as there probably only were 600 dinosaur species, which would make the era of dinosaurs a misnomer.

Doctor Werner found out that many modern species of mammals and birds (excluding the big mammals) already lived at the time of the dinosaurs. Moreover, they looked surprisingly similar to the animals that we see today. For instance, ducks, flamingos and parrots already lived at the same time as T. rex.

CMI’s Super Conference ended yesterday. Although it coincided with the London Olympics, the five-day event attracted hundreds of participants. In addition, God TV broadcasted the sessions to millions of homes.

The Creation Super Conference Is Now Live

Yesterday evening nuclear physicist Dr. Jim Mason talked about the problems with radiometric dating. No one can be sure about the starting assumptions or the ratio of parent vs. daughter elements in a particular rock, whether there has been a loss or gain of substances, or whether the decay rate has always been stable.

Dr. Mason mentioned some “bad” dates, such as a 3.5 million year age for Mt. Ngauruhoe in New Zealand that erupted in the 1950s and a 2.8 million year for Mt. St. Helen’s lava flow in 1984.

He also discussed the presence of radiocarbon (C-14) in coal and diamonds. No C-14 should be detected in coal or diamonds over 90,00 years old. However, coal and diamonds consistently contain radiocarbon, which is a big problem for the millions of years view.

Thus, radiometric dating can give precise dates that nevertheless are precisely wrong.

In yesterday’s final talk geologist Dr. Carl Froede warned of the danger of basing our interpretations of the past on the assumptions of the non-theistic worldview.

Creation Ministries International Launches New Online Bible Study Tool

We cannot understand the New Testament without knowing what happened in the Old Testament. The Book of Genesis lays the foundation for many essential Christian doctrines.

Unfortunately, many Christians assume that our view of origins is not important. In contrast, Jesus and the New Testament writers believed that Genesis is history.

Jonathan Sarfati, who has a PhD in chemistry, is one of the best-known defenders of the Bible. He works as a CMI scientist, speaker and writer. He has written several bestsellers, including Refuting Evolution 1 and 2, Refuting Compromise and The Greatest Hoax on Earth?

Dr. Sarfati contributes regularly to Creation magazine and the Creation.com website. He is also featured in several videos.

On a recently released CMI video, Dr. Sarfati, a former New Zealand chess champion, talks about playing chess blindfolded, his books Refuting Evolution and The Greatest Hoax on Earth?, Richard Dawkins and the tactics evolutionists use, such as equivocation, as seen in the use of different meanings of evolution in the same context, and his own research in chemistry.

Dr. Sarfati says that whereas the Bible is based on evidence, the evolution view is based on blind faith. There is no way everything could have formed from nothing or life could have arisen from non-life.

Last May Philip Bell of Creation Ministries International (UK) spoke at a Church of England school in Exeter.

The consequences were surprising: While Bell visited the school on a Religious Education study day, that did not stop some British humanists from assuming that creationists were infiltrating the education system. They promptly began a campaign in support of the teaching of evolution in schools.

Later our old friends Sir David Attenborough and Richard Dawkins joined the fray. They emphasised that no view that challenges Darwinian evolution, such as creation or intelligent design, can be presented as a scientific alternative to evolution in government schools.

The campaign is strange because CMI scientists and speakers do not usually give presentations in schools but rather in churches. But Darwinists seem to be worried that evolution is not exactly popular on Charles Darwin’s home island.

Recent scientific research does not favour evolution. It seems that the only way humanists and other atheists can keep their ground is by proclaiming in a loud voice that they will not tolerate a critical approach to Darwinism.

Who Invented the Digital Code?

The earliest digital code is as old as Genesis. Protein synthesis is a complicated process that could hardly have come about through purely naturalistic means.

The cell looks as though it has been designed very intelligently. With its factories, machines and digital code functioning in an amazingly intricate way, it speaks of an intelligence that is greater than anything we have seen.

As the apostle Paul wrote: “For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.” (Romans 1:20, NIV).

Question Evolution!

Creation Ministries International (CMI) has just launched a campaign that challenges Darwinian evolution by presenting 15 hard questions for evolutionists.

The Traditional Values Coalition, representing over 43, 000 Christian churches in America, also promotes the campaign.

Recently, CMI presented a campaign leaflet entitled 15 Questions for Evolutionists.

Evolutionists do not have the answers to these questions:

"1. How did life originate?
2. How did the DNA code originate?
3. How could mutations create the huge volumes of information in the DNA of living things?
4. Why is natural selection taught as ‘evolution’, as if it explains the origin of the diversity of life?
5. How did new biochemical pathways originate?
6. Living things look like they were designed, so how do evolutionists know that they were not designed?
7. How did multi-cellular life originate?
8. How did sex originate?
9. Why are the (expected) countless millions of transitional fossils missing?
10. How do ‘living fossils’ remain unchanged over supposed hundreds of millions of years, if evolution has changed worms into humans in the same time frame?
11. How did blind chemistry create mind/ intelligence, meaning, altruism and morality?
12. Why is evolutionary ‘just-so’ storytelling tolerated?
13. Where are the scientific breakthroughs due to evolution?
14. Why is evolution, a theory about history, taught as if it is the same as this operational science?
15. Why is a fundamentally religious idea, a dogmatic belief system that fails to explain the evidence, taught in science classes?"



One could add many more questions that remain unanswered.

Operational science vs. origins science

Many people fail to understand the difference between operational science and origins science. Operational science is the type that put men on the moon and gave us computers. Origins science, however, relies on indirect evidence (such as fossils) that we see in the present.

The evidence does not speak for itself but we have to interpret it. Our worldview and our assumptions about the past determine how we interpret the evidence we see in the present.

At last: Skeptics are awakening to see what creationists really believe

Known for his many books and articles, Michael Shermer, the editor of Skeptic magazine, is not averse to discussing controversial topics. In the new issue of E-Skeptic he recommends Daniel Loxton’s article on creationism.

Loxton equates young earth creationism with Darwinism.

According to an old myth, creationists believe that species have hardly changed since creation.

However, Loxton took a look at the websites of Answers in Genesis and Creation Ministries International and he was almost as astonished as the shepherds to whom angels announced the good news near the little town of Bethelem.

He noticed that creationists do not deny natural selection. Neither do they claim that species have not changed or do not change.

Many creationists believe that the global flood of Noah’s days was a genetic bottleneck that most probably accelerated speciation.

Loxton even checked what Creationwiki had to say about baraminology. The concept is derived from the Hebrew words bara (’create’) and min (’kind’). In other words, baraminology has to do with the study of created kinds.

Animals change according to their kinds. For instance, the Australian wild dog dingo (Canis lupus dingo) is now considered to be a separate species. It probably developed from the domesticated dog (Canis lupus familiaris) that returned to living in the wild. The domesticated dog developed from the wolf (Canis lupus).

However, a dog could never evolve into a cat. Neither could a unicellular organism develop into a multicellular animal since it would need far too many beneficial mutations. As Haldane’s dilemma suggests, even hundreds of millions of years would be far too short for that.

Darwinian evolution does not work in practice. It cannot explain where the necessary genetic information comes from. Without huge additions of information, a unicellular organism will for ever remain a unicellular creature.

Creation Ministries International Launches New Website – and a Trailer of Its New Darwin Film

This magazine spreads to 140 countries

Creation Ministries International, one of today’s premier apologetics ministries, has just launched a new website. Formerly part of Answers in Genesis, the ministry now headquartered in Australia has streamlined its website name. The new site is called Creation.com.

CMI has branch offices in Great Britain, USA, Canada, South Africa, New Zealand and Singapore. Several well-known creation scientists, such as Carl Wieland, Jonathan Sarfati, D. Russell Humphreys and Emil Silvestru work for CMI.

The name Creation.com. fits in well with its magazine (called Creation) and its peer reviewed science journal (called Journal of Creation) that spread throughout the world. As a subscriber, I can warmly recommend both publications.

CMI also launched a trailer of their new Darwin film that takes a critical approach to the man and his work. You can view it here.
