Where to watch the next total solar eclipse anywhere in the world

Have you ever seen an eclipse of the sun? Now, in many parts of the world, you can see an eclipse, for instance in Europe.

The total solar eclipse on 12 August will only be visible to a lucky few, but eclipses happen all over the world – here are the next ones to look out for, wherever you may be.

On 12 August, a total solar eclipse will sweep a narrow path across parts of Europe and the Atlantic and Arctic oceans. Such an eclipse happens somewhere on Earth about once every 18 months as the moon and the sun line up just right so that the moon blocks out the entirety of the sun’s disc, darkening the sky and revealing the outermost layers of the sun that are usually hidden by the glare of its brighter surface. 

For the most part, this August’s total eclipse will only be visible from the ocean and relatively remote areas of land: northern Russia, Greenland, the ocean, and then more inhabited regions as it passes through Iceland and Spain. A broader swathe will see a partial eclipse, but views of the total eclipse’s grandeur will be limited. If you aren’t able to spot this one, though, there will be other chances.

Bizarre 'failed star' the size of Jupiter is 2,000 degrees hotter than the sun

This Jupiter-size object is 80 times hotter than the sun

Our solar system is really special, compared to other systems. Take for instance the exoplanet that will give not life to the little green men.

“Some stars get hot, hotter than the sun. A newly discovered star system is breaking records — and helping scientists unravel the mysteries of an extreme type of planet known as hot Jupiters. In a paper published Aug. 14 in the journal Nature Astronomy, researchers describe how the system could help further our understanding of worlds beyond our solar system.

City-size comet racing toward Earth regrows 'horns' after massive volcanic eruption

Evolutionists say that the cryovolcanic comet 12P/Pons–Brooks, which will make its closest approach to Earth next year, has re-sprouted its distinctive "horns" after its second major eruption in four months.

“An enormous volcanic comet the size of a small city has violently exploded for the second time in four months as it hurtles toward the sun. And just like the previous eruption, the cloud of ice and gas emitted what looked like a gigantic pair of horns.”

The comet, named 12P/Pons-Brooks, is a cryovolcanic - it is (17 kilometers), and is filled with a mix of ice, dust and gas known as cryomagma. The nucleus is surrounded by a fuzzy cloud of gas called a coma, which leaks out of the comet's interior. 

When solar radiation heats the comet's insides, the pressure builds up and the comet violently explodes, shooting its frosty guts out into space through large cracks in the nucleus's shell.

On Oct. 5, astronomers detected a large outburst from 12P, after the comet became dozens of times brighter due to the extra light reflecting from its expanded coma, according to the British Astronomical Association (BAA), which has been closely monitoring the comet 

Over the next few days, the comet's coma expanded further and developed its "peculiar horns," Spaceweather.com reported. Some experts joked that the irregular shape of the coma also makes the comet look like a science fiction spaceship, such as the Millennium Falcon from Star Wars.

Mercury has a weird cloud of dust following it

Mercury has secrets.  It appears to share its orbit with a huge ring of dust millions of kilometres thick, and scientists aren’t sure how it got there.

The solar system is created, and we would not catch anything like it anywhere,

Researchers can not explain why the  sun’s gravity almost did not immediately pull in the debris.

A solar flare could hit the Earth today

If a solar storm hits Earth, it could drive the aurora much further south than usual. it is expected to push past Earth on May 7th,

”Continuing a months-long spate of heightened activity, the sun is currently crackling with powerful solar flares, which are often accompanied by giant explosions of plasma known as coronal mass ejections (CMEs). When CMEs pass over Earth , they can temporarily compress our planet's magnetic shield, resulting in geomagnetic storms that can knock out power grids, muddle radio waves and damage satellites in their path”

The Earth Is A Great Place To Stay, Compared To Venus

Contrasted with the planets in our solar system, the Earth is a great place to stay.

While we might plan to go to Mars, Venus is Earth’s sister planet. only that its temperature is 370 degrees (700 degrees Fahrenheit), with clouds entire made up “by carbon dioxide and chokingly thick with an atmospheric pressure at the surface 90 carbon dioxide and chokingly thick with an atmospheric pressure at the surface 90 times that of Earth.

As an article in Space, com tells us, the times that of the Sun was normal in the beginning , but “as the sun aged, that habitable zone steadily moved outward. And as Venus approached the inner edge of that zone, things started to go haywire."

This would also happened to Earth, with the snowball Earth still an unsolved mystery.

" As the temperatures rose on Venus, the oceans began to evaporate, dumping a lot of water vapor into the atmosphere. This water vapor was very good at trapping heat, which further increased the surface temperatures, which caused the oceans to evaporate even more, which caused even more water vapor to get in the atmosphere, which trapped even more heat, and so on and so on as things spiralled out of control.”

This is what the article also claim will happen to Earth – 100 million years from today. However, the faint young sun paradox mentioned above would have resulted in a snowball Earth, killing all life.
