100-year-old assumption about the universe may soon be overturned

Joel Kontinen

Some scientists may be in for a surprise.   A recent survey has said that the universe in surprising lumpy.

Assumptions that physicists have made about the universe for over a century may be about to be overturned. Evidence is emerging that it is far lumpier than we had thought – a finding that could solve some of today’s most puzzling cosmological mysteries.

When modelling the universe, cosmologists can’t describe every single galaxy, so they make simplifications. Typically, they assume that the universe on the largest scales is homogeneous and isotropic, meaning that it is roughly the same no matter where you look.

Our universe may look surprising lumpy, but that is the way God made it,   For example, our solar system is very different from other solar systems.

Earth may have formed from two separate rings around the sun

Models suggest something is wrong with our picture of the early solar system. Image courtesy of Panther Media Global / Alamy.

Joel Kontinen

According to evolutionary story, our solar system’s rocky planets – Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars – may have formed from two rings around the young sun, rather than a single disc.

The inner solar system may have formed differently from how scientist thought must have. For decades, researchers have thought that according to evolution, the rocky planets formed from a single disc of dust and debris in the early solar system, but new simulations indicate there might have been two separate discs of material.

Models featuring a single disc or ring of material around the young sun tend to be unable to recreate several features of the solar system as we observe it. For one, Earth seems to be made of two different kinds of rocks, which wouldn’t make sense if they all came from the same ring.

Also, single-ring models tend to end up with Mercury and Mars too big, Venus and Earth too close together and the compositions of Earth and Mars too similar.

The real history of the planets can be read from the book of Genesis, in which God made the planets and stars at one go.

The dragon tree (Dracaena draco) could have its beginning in Genesis, where it might have been the tree that God told Adam and Eve never to touch. Yet they did, and it brought disaster to the world.

The genus name Dracaena is from the ancient Greek word dracaena or she-dragon. The dragon tree can be a live for hundreds of years.

2026 Mars mission will set out to solve the mystery of its moons

Joel Kontinen

The mystery of how Mars acquired its moons, Phobos and Deimos, may start to be unravelled in 2026 with the launch of a spacecraft that will eventually bring a chunk of Phobos back to Earth.

“We are sure about the origin of the Earth’s moon, but we don’t know how Phobos an Deimos got there,” says Emelia Branagan-Harris at the Natural History Museum in London. “Understanding the origins of Phobos and Deimos, and how they came to be orbiting Mars, can hopefully tell us a bit about the evolution of Mars in general and its history.”

But only evolutionists know how the moon got its present shape, in the book of Genesis,  God had made the lesser  light or the moon so that Adam could look at it.

Evoltionists think that the origins of Phopos and Deimos took place somewhere we do not know.

Exceptional star is the most pristine object known in the universe

A star found in the Large Magellanic Cloud is remarkably unpolluted by heavier elements, suggesting it is descended from the universe’s earliest stars.

A relatively nearby star that appears to lack almost any of the heavy elements produced by supernovae could be a direct descendant of the very first stars that formed in the universe.

That is, according to evolution that states that God was not needed, and the planets just appeared from nowhere.

Astronomers think the first stars were made up of only the hydrogen and helium that were floating around after the big bang. It was only when these stars ran out of fuel and exploded in a supernova that elements heavier than helium were spread around. The leftover, element-rich gas from these initial explosions then formed the next generation of stars, with the cycle repeating to eventually produce all the elements we see in the stars and planets today.

Ash-winged dawn goddess' is oldest pterosaur ever discovered in North America

Joel Kontinen

We taught that Pterosaur were large, but now it seems that some weren’t so big. They have found a Pterosaurs that is small enough to sit on my shoulder. Yes, God created some animals large  and some small.

A cache of Triassic fossils in Arizona has revealed Eotephradactylus mcintireae, or "ash-winged dawn goddess," the oldest pterosaur ever discovered in North America.

Eotephradactylus mcintireae lived alongside fellow evolutionary newcomers, including turtles, as well as more ancient animal lineages, such as giant amphibians and armored crocodile relatives.

Researchers have unearthed the oldest pterosaur ever discovered in North America and named it the "ash-winged dawn goddess."

The 209 million-year-old pterosaur was among a cache of more than 1,000 Triassic fossils extracted from rocks in the Petrified Forest National Park in Arizona. Eotephradactylus mcintireae is partly named after volcanic ash found in the fossil bed and Eos, the Greek goddess of the dawn, because it evolved near the beginning, or dawn, of pterosaurs' evolutionary history.

Pterosaurs, informally called "pterodactyls," were flying reptiles that dominated the skies during the age of dinosaurs. The group produced many giants, some with wingspans stretching to around 36 feet (11 meters), but E. mcintireae and the other early members were tiny by comparison.

Eotephradactylus mcintireae lived alongside fellow evolutionary newcomers, including turtles, as well as more ancient animal lineages, such as giant amphibians and armored crocodile relatives. (Image credit: Illustration by Brian Engh.)

Kligman began working on the fossils in 2018, after the jaw had been discovered, and said he doubted the fossil was a pterosaur at first — at the time, researchers had only found one early pterosaur in North America, and none had ever been found in sediment deposited in a river.

"When I finally examined the jaw my doubts were put to rest — the distinctive teeth and jaw anatomy was unmistakably from a pterosaur," Kligman said. "I was most surprised by the fact that a delicate, tiny jaw like this one had not been destroyed by the movement of river gravel prior to it being fossilized, suggesting that the bonebed was preserving a unique fossilization setting."

The bonebed revealed a community of evolutionary newcomers, such as pterosaurs and turtles, sharing the landscape with each other and more ancient animals, such as giant amphibians, before the latter went extinct at the end of the Triassic.

"The presence of the pterosaur Eotephradactylus living and interacting in a community alongside groups like frogs, lizard relatives, and turtles is the first occurrence of this community type in the fossil record — these groups are commonly found living together in post-Triassic communities from the Jurassic and Cretaceous, however they had never been found together preceding the end-Triassic extinction event 201 million years ago," Kligman said.

James Webb telescope discovers frozen water around a distant, sunlike star

Joel Kontinen

Could there be water around a distant star? This is what scientist have found out recently.  This brings to live the saying that where there is water, there might be live.

But if all planets had water or ice, it was the way God created the universe.

“The new discovery centres on a star called HD 181327, located about 155 light-years away, in the constellation Telescopium. At just 23 million years old, HD 181327 is a cosmic infant compared with our 4.6 billion-year-old sun, and it's encircled by a broad, dusty debris disk that is rich in small, early building blocks of planets.”

The millions of years in this study are fake, as God did not take so long to form the universe.

Hohle Fels water bird: The oldest depiction of a bird in the world

Joel Kontinen

This tiny bird sculpture was created 40,000 years ago by early humans in Europe who carved the key animals in their lives.

It is from Hohle Fels cave, Baden-Württemberg, southwestern Germany. it looks like a modern bird, not featured by evolution.

“Archaeologists excavating Hohle Fels cave in southwestern Germany over two decades ago discovered three tiny figurines carved out of mammoth ivory. Dated to around 40,000 years ago, the sculptures represent some of the oldest examples of figurative art, and the tiny carved bird is god, the oldest depiction of a bird anywhere in the world.”

The date of the bird is not correct, as such birds came into existence about 6 000 years ago, when God created the world.

Hubble hunts a stellar 'imposter' hiding in the Great Bear

The legendary Hubble Space Telescope has turned its gaze to the Ursa Major-adjacent galaxy UGC 5460, revealing spiral arms, star clusters and a possible supernova "imposter".

Where it is: 60 billion light-years away in the constellation Ursa Major.

When it was shared: Feb. 21, 2025 and the beginning of creation.

Space is big and wonderful. It has the signature of the One who made it, at the beginning of creation.

“This stunning new image of a spiral galaxy — and a very bright star above it — was recently captured by the Hubble Space Telescope. The image shows the galaxy's central bar of stars, along with its spiral arms and young, blue star clusters. The top-left of the image, meanwhile, is dominated by a star that's just 577 light-years away in the Milky Way.

This galaxy has hosted two significant supernova explosions in the last 14 years. Such events are landmarks for astronomers and are the final, destructive stage for some massive stars. A supernova explosion can briefly have the power of up to 100 billion stars and temporarily outshine their host galaxies.”

Two huge black holes merged into one and went flying across the cosmos

Joel Kontinen

Space is wonderful, we cannot see how God made it,  Just now two big black holes are  merged into one.  and it is flying at a speed of a thousand kilometres per second,

A rare collision between two supermassive black holes (SMBH) appears to have sent the resulting merger speeding through the universe, making it one of the fastest-moving black holes we have ever seen.

Astronomers have long puzzled over how the gargantuan black holes at the centres of galaxies can grow to be so large. One possible route is for smaller – but still extremely massive – black holes to merge together, but there has been little direct evidence of this happening.

Mice seen giving 'first aid' to unconscious companions

Can mice have mercy to their hurt companions?

This proves that some animals are more conscious of their companions than we usually think. This is not due to evolution but on intelligent design as God also made the animals.

“When they find another mouse unconscious, some mice seemingly try to revive their companion by pawing at them, biting and even pulling their tongue aside to clear their airways. The finding hints that caregiving behaviour might be more common in the animal kingdom than we thought.

There are rare reports of large, social mammals trying to help incapacitated members of their species, such as wild chimpanzees touching and licking wounded peers, dolphins attempting to push a distressed pod mate to the surface so it can breathe and elephants rendering assistance to ailing relatives.

Now, Li Zhang at the University of Southern California (USC) and his colleagues have filmed what happened when they presented laboratory mice with a familiar cage mate that was either active or anaesthetised and unresponsive.”

How a moth uses an optical illusion to disguise itself as a leaf

The fruit-sucking moth bears an uncanny resemblance to a leaf

Joel Kontinen

“A moth found in northern Australia and South-East Asia has an astonishing camouflage trick: it creates an optical illusion to look like a three-dimensional leaf, complete with a raised midrib, when it is actually smooth.

“If I gave you a specimen now, you wouldn’t believe it was flat,” says Jennifer Kelley at the University of Western Australia in Perth. “When we showed it to people, they were very confused by it. It really does not look flat.”

The smooth wings of fruit-sucking moths appear to be ridged like a leaf – but the resemblance is created by nanostructures that reflect light in an unusual way.

The fruit-sucking moth (Eudocima aurantia) resembles a leaf to fool predators, especially birds, into thinking it isn’t food. Although it was first described in 1877, until now this likeness was thought to be caused by pigments and the shape of its body.

In fact, the moth uses extremely sophisticated physics to give the impression it is a leaf, says Kelley.

This cannot be the result of evolution. This strategy is the result of intelligence design that God has provided for this species.

Astronomers baffled by bizarre 'zombie star' that shouldn't exist

Joel Kontinen

A newly discovered neutron star is behaving so strangely that it may alter our understanding of the dense remains left behind when stellar objects die

Some astronomers are  worried because they see a neutron star that should not be living.  It is a mystery that is brought about the Big Bang story . But who do they support a theory that is one the way out?

”A collapsed star around 13,000 light years away is so unusual that the researchers who have discovered it say it shouldn’t exist.

It was first detected in January 2024 by the ASKAP radio telescope in Western Australia and is likely to be a kind of pulsar that has never been seen before.

When supermassive stars reach the end of their lives and explode in a supernova, the remnants form a super-dense object called a neutron star. Pulsars are neutron stars that spin rapidly, emitting radio waves from their magnetic poles as they rotate. Most pulsars spin at speeds of more than one revolution per second and we receive a pulse at

the same frequency, each time a radio beam points towards us.

But in recent years, astronomers have begun to find compact objects that emit pulses of radio waves at a much slower rate. This has baffled scientists, who had thought that radio wave flashes should cease when the rotation slows to more than a minute for each spin.

These slow-spinning objects are known as long-period radio transients. Last year, a team led by Manisha Caleb at the University of Sydney, Australia, announced the discovery of a transient with a period of 54 minutes.”

God made the universe at the beginning, it is full of wonders that people do not understand.

New supergiant 'Darth Vader' sea bug discovered in South China Sea — and it's absolutely massive

A new supergiant isopod was found near the Spratly Islands in South China Sea — and it's absolutely massive

Scientists have discovered a never-before-seen giant sea bug after studying samples purchased from fishers in Vietnam.

“Bathynomus vaderi belongs to the genus Bathynomus — giant isopods that are abundant in cold, deep waters. It is a "supergiant," weighing over 2.2 pounds (1 kilogram) and growing up to 12.8 inches (32.5 centimeters) long, making it one of the largest known isopods.”

The species is named "vaderi" because its head resembles Darth Vader's iconic helmet from "Star Wars."

It seems that God can make animals big or small, and in this instance it is big.

A supermassive black hole is sending out a mysterious pulsing beat

What are black holes? Recently, a black hole appears to send more noise to us.

“Strange vibrations emanating from a supermassive black hole appear to be growing more frequent and they could be caused by a white dwarf star orbiting perilously close to its event horizon.

In 2018, a supermassive black hole called 1ES 1927+654 took astronomers by surprise by changing from a relatively inactive black hole to an extremely bright one. It was the first time a supermassive black hole had been observed changing in this way.”

Space is unique, as God created it that way,

Earth may have had its water delivered by a vast cloud of vapour

Joel Kontinen

Rather than getting its water from impacts, our planet may have drawn in water vapour after the sun boiled it off early icy asteroids.

The sun may have created a vast mass of water gas by heating asteroids.

ESA/Hubble Copyright: NASA, ESA, M.A. Garlick (space-art.co.uk), University of Warwick, and University of Cambridge.

Where did Earth get its water? According to the Darwinian way, it got it from asteroids.  There is no proof of this, so it is just evolutionary speculation.

”A vast cloud of vapour expelled from boiled asteroids may have lingered in the solar system for millions of years before raining down on Earth, according to a new idea for how our planet got its water.

The origin of Earth’s water has long puzzled scientists. It is hard to argue that our planet has always had the water we see today, because the young sun would have been got its water from asteroids.”

But Genesis paints a different story, the Earth has always had water.

Bacteria found in asteroid sample – but they're not from space

Image courtesy of Matthew J. Genge et al. 2024

Joel Kontinen

The unexpected discovery of microbial life in a piece of rock from an asteroid show how hard it is to avoid contaminating samples. It was brought back on a sample from the Ryugu asteroid.

So the bacteria was probably produced on Earth, which speaks of contamination. As only God can create living things.

A rock from the asteroid Ryugu that was brought back to Earth appears to be festooned with microbial life. But these microbes almost certainly came from Earth rather than outer space, say researchers. This contamination serves as a cautionary tale in the search for extraterrestrial life in future sample return missions, such as from NASA’s Perseverance rover on Mars.

In 2020, Japan’s Hayabusa 2 spacecraft returned to Earth with 5.4 grams of rock from the 4.5-billion-year-old asteroid Ryugu. After the sample capsule landed in Australia, it was transported to a custom-built facility in Sagamihara, Japan. There, the capsule was first opened inside a vacuum room, itself located within a clean room, before moving to a pressurised nitrogen-filled room for longer-term storage. From there, parts of the sample could be put inside nitrogen-filled containers and sent out for researchers to study.

One of these samples was sent to the UK to be studied by Matthew Genge at Imperial College London and his colleagues. Genge and his team initially scanned the sample using X-rays, which showed no evidence of bacteria.

The millions of years is not based on science.

The first brown dwarf ever found was the strangest – now we know why

Joel Kontinen

The first brown dwarf was a mystery, but it is not a single star. God can make what He did  in surprising ways.

”An odd star that has confused researchers for decades now makes sense – it turns out not to be a single star but two companions.

“It used to be that this brown dwarf didn’t make any sense. We worried that we were doing something horribly wrong, or that our models were horribly wrong. But, no, everything’s fine. It just has a friend,” says Timothy Brandt at the Space Telescope Science Institute in Maryland

Now, two research teams have used instruments at the W. M. Keck Observatory in Hawaii and the Very Large Telescope in Chile to unravel the mystery of the first brown dwarf.

Brown dwarfs are “failed stars” in that they have too little matter and are too cool to sustain nuclear 2fusion. They become faint in the night sky, similar to planets, instead of burning bright for millennia. The first brown dwarf, called Gliese 229B, was discovered in 1995, but its mass was inexplicably large, says Jerry Xuan at the California Institute of Technology, who worked on one of the studies.”

Signals from exotic new stars could hide in gravitational wave data

Image courtesy of Victor de Schwanberg / Science Photo Library

Joel Kontinen

A computer simulation suggests that some collisions between exotic, hypothetical stars would make space-time ripple with detectable waves.

What do you think about strange noises coming from space?

“Gravitational wave signals that seem to emanate from black hole collisions may actually come from the clashes of odd, exotic stars – which have been theorised but may or may not exist. If they do, then physicists will have to rethink their standard theories of gravity and particles.

For almost 60 years, researchers have been thinking up cosmic objects that may be possible if there is more to gravity than is suggested by Albert Einstein.”

Space is wonderful. We can not understand  why God made the universe like that. He knows where all the noises we hear are coming from.
