Dinosaur era turtle egg found

According to evolution, some 90 million years ago, a giant turtle laid an egg. The eggshell was incredibly thick. The egg was donated by a farmer. Now, scientist have been able to study it in detail.

Evolutionists believe that the terrestrial turtle Yuchelys nanyangensis  died around 66 million years ago, at the time when an asteroid struck the world, killing the dinosaurs

The egg is huge:  “At 2.1 by 2.3 inches (5.4 by 5.9 centimeters) in size, the nearly spherical egg is just a bit smaller than a tennis ball. That's larger than the eggs of most living turtles, and just a tad smaller than the eggs of Galapogas tortoises, Darla Zelenitsky said. “

Frog from the dinosaur era found in Madagascar

Paleontologists in Madagascar recently discovered an exceptionally well-preserved fossil of a new and extinct species of turtle, dating back to the late Cretacoeus period, which according to evolution, began some 100 million years ago. . .

The turtle was called  Sahonachelys mailakavava, which means "quick-mouthed frog turtle" in Malagasy.

Researchers say that the turtle is  an example of convergent evolution as it resembles another turtle of a different group.
