Scientists say that they have found a 1 metre or
3.3 foot long sea scorpion in what is now China. They say that its assumed age
was 435 million years ago.
They have called it Terropterus xiushanensis and say it was the apex predator of its time and add that it lived during the Silurian period,
between approximately 443.8 million and 419.2 million years ago:
