“The elephant proboscis (trunk) exhibits an extraordinary kinematic
versatility as it can manipulate a single blade of grass but also carry loads
up to 270 kilograms. “
Now. scientist ar the University of Geneva (UNIGE),
Switzerland, “showed have the elephant trunk emerges from the combination of a
finite set of basic movements such as the propagation of an inward curvature
and the formation of pseudo-joints.”
“The elephant trunk is flexible across its
whole length: the coordinated contractions of the muscles result in twisting,
bending, lengthening, shortening and stiffening, without any bone support.”
This is a source of intelligent desIgn, not evolution as the University of
Geneva claims. the elephant cannot have evolved a better trunk, but god put it
there at the beginning.
Many other features in animals bear the hallmarks of intelligent design. A recent study looked at the zebra’s tail, which is also a very effective tool.
Other examples include the Saiga antelope’s air-conditioning nose, the penguin’s anti-free feathers and an anti-crash system in birds, to mention just a few.
