Scientist have found nerve tissue within a small fossil. According to
evolution, the creature lived in the Cambrian rock layers.
It was called Mollisonia symmetrica. Two
of them were found.. One of them is just 0.5 inches (13 millimeters)
long and 0.1 inches (3.5 mm) wide at its widest point, the other is 0.3 inches (7.5
mm) long and 0.06 inches (1.7 mm) tall.
The researcher say that it was just difficult to find so
small creatures from around 500 million years ago. And they don’t know where to
put the creature in the evolutionary tree.
