Now, if a person dies in Washington, he/she might be treated only to a funereal or a cremation but a third option, A law in Washington gives the Democratic Governor Jay Inslee the right to treat deceased individuals as human remains.

it is called "natural organic reduction." It’s’ also called human composting, in which the dead ones are disposed of.

The end result of the composting is 0.76 cubic meters or about a cubic yard of soil, which could fill two large wheelbarrows. The family of the deceased can take turns in caring for the him/her.

It is also a very effective way of dealing with the dead with much less energy - an eighth of the energy of cremation.

As Job said: “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I will depart.”
