South Africa’s Tatiana Schoenmaker, who won the 200-meter backstroke, is also a Christian, as is a part of the Fiji rugby team, who sang praise to the Lamb and praise to God after winning gold in Tokyo.

And then Nicola McDermott from  Australia won the silver medal ib the high jump.

Athing Mu, who comes from South Sudan, won Olympic gold in the 800m as a 19-year-old. She’s the first U.S. woman to win the event since 1968. “As a follower of Christ, our main goal is to live in the image of Jesus in order to connect to God.” She, along with Sydney McLanguin, also won a gold in the 4x 400 metres final,

Another U.S. Olympian who set a record despite incredible challenges is 400m sprinter Allyson Felix. In Tokyo, she earned the distinction of becoming the most decorated U.S. track star in history, with 11 medals over five Olympics. However, she almost didn’t live to see this one.
