According to evolution, dense forests in eastern Africa started to give way
to open woodlands 10 million years earlier than previously thought. It drove
the evolution of upright apes which later gave rise to humans.
That is the conclusion of an evolution team that “has been analysing from ancient soil to fossil ape bones at several sites in the region.”
They
walked on fours But some 220 million years ago they became bigger and
walked on their legs.
What
is the evidence for this? It is hidden, as things are in evolution.
