We would not want to see little green men on the
exoplanet Smertrios.
HD149026b, or Smertrios, is a so-called hot Jupiter, a Jupiter-like planet that orbits extremely close to its parent star, Its distance to the star is merely three earth days.
The planet is so close to its star that its temperate is 1,425 degrees Celsius, but unlike the massive stars in
the solar system, the atmospheric composition of a planet has carbon and oxygen.
