The Antarctic icefish Channichthydiae lives in super-cold waters without freezing to death. They do not have hemoglobin which keeps humans and red-blooded animals blood viscosity. but still their blood viscosity is at 3.27 centipoise nearly identical to human blood,

They maintain viscosity at freezing temperatures primarily by using a special type of glycoprotein: the antifreeze protein. It is an intelligent design feature.
