Evolutionists have discovered a new shrimp like creature . The Cambrian creature hails from 518 million years ago, It is called Xiaocaris luoi, literally means "Luo's small shrimp.

It was just 2 centimetres or 0.8 inches long but it had weapons with what to attack they enemies or predators.

"This is a tiny animal that is nevertheless pretty well equipped for scavenging," study co-lead researcher Javier Ortega-Hernández, assistant professor of organismic and evolutionary biology at Harvard University, said.

The study was published online June 1 in the journal BMC Evolutionary Biology.
