Secularists propose an end to Snowball Earth

Researcher have found rocks that were forged 2.229 billion years ago, when an asteroid crashed into our planet. The rocks found in Australia, have come at a time that our planet endured the Snowball earth episode. They say that the crash caused a powerful greenhouse effect.

The Snowball Earth is a great problem that is still unanswered by science. As the belief is that the Sun was faint in the beginning, with only 70 per cent as powerful as now.

Other researchers are sceptical: they impact was just a third of the area that was said to killed off the dinosaurs some 66 millions of years ago, so how could it have such an effect on the climate?

"Researchers have discovered a nearly complete 3.8-million-year-old skull of an early ape-like human ancestor in Ethiopia.“It is called Australopithecus anamensis, and it could have existed “4.2 million years” ago.

"An analysis of the new specimen challenges ideas about how the first humans evolved from ape-like ancestors.

The current view that an ape named Lucy was among a species that gave rise to the first early humans may have to be reconsidered.

The discovery is reported in the journal Nature.

The skull was found by Prof Yohannes Haile-Selassie at a place called Miro Dora, which is in the Mille District of Ethiopia's Afar Regional State."

Evolutionists believed that Lucy was the ape that gave rise to humans. Lucy was made up of bones that belonged to a baboon, for instance. And it is now certain that she fell to earth from a tree.

We Could Detect Extraterrestrials Because They May Glow, Scientists Say

"Alien life-forms could glow in spectacular reds, blues and greens to shield themselves from stellar bursts of ultraviolet (UV) radiation. And that glowing light could be how we find them, according to a new study."

Most of the exoplanets we think are the most habitable, orbit red dwarfs, for instance Proxima Centauri or TRAPPIST-1.

However, if we don’t find aliens life there, the ones who seek for alien life have a great problem.

Glowing is not too surprising, Here on earth, some corrals protect themselves by glowing, says lead author Jack O'Malley-James, a research associate at the Cornell Center for Astrophysics and Planetary Science of the new research, posted in the journal Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society.

Biodiversity on Some Alien Planets May Dwarf That of Earth

It seems that we don't have optimum ocean-circulation patterns on Earth.

"Earth's dazzling biodiversity may not be so remarkable in the cosmic scheme of things, a new study suggests.

Alien planets with more favourable ocean-circulation patterns might support life in even greater abundance and variety than our own world does, the study determined.

"Life in Earth's oceans depends on upwelling (upward flow), which returns nutrients from the dark depths of the ocean to the sunlit portions of the ocean where photosynthetic life lives," study leader Stephanie Olson, of the University of Chicago, said in a statement."

However, we do not know the state of affair on exoplanets. We do not know, for instance, if a planet's contains phosphorus, without which which we would not have RNA , DNA, and our ATP, and thus we would not have life. And also if it contains all ingredients that make life necessary.

Biblical War Revealed on 2,800-Year-Old Stone Altar

A 2,800-year-old altar found in the in the ancient city of Ataroth in Jordan, may shed light on an ancient biblical war. It describes a rebellion against the Kingdom of Israel.

”The altar bears two inscriptions. The words are in the Moabite language and script, while the numerals in the inscriptions are in Hieratic (an Egyptian writing system). The altar appears to date to a time after Mesha, king of Moab, successfully rebelled against the Kingdom of Israel and conquered Ataroth (sometimes spelled Atarot), a city that the Kingdom of Israel had controlled.“

At this time, Israel had broken into two. the northern kingdom had retained the name Israel and the southern kingdom called Judah.

"The altar reveals new details about a rebellion against the Kingdom of Israel", as described in the Bible.

It was Israel’s sin that brought the division of the land in two. However, the altar shows that the history of Israel, told in the Bible, can be trusted. as God never lies.

Short-term Comet Crashes into the Sun

Comets can be roughly divided into two categories: long-term comets, which orbit the sun in more than 200 years, and short-term comets, with an orbital period of 200 years or less. Some of them are so spectacular that they were though to augur doom. For instance,in 1066 Halley’s Comet preceded the Battle of Hastings, in which William the Conqueror defeated England’s Saxon king Harold.

It has been estimated that a comet will loose all its mass in under 100 000 years.This is a serious problem for the secular view of a 4.6 billion year old solar system. If the solar system were that old, we should not see any comets.

Now, it seems that a short-term comet, opposing the billions of years our solar system is assumedly based on.

Foxes on Temple Mount Has Some Pointing to Lamentations 5 Prophecy

A bible prophesy in lamentation 5:18 comes to mind for some readers, listening to a YouTube session on the Foxes on Temple Mount, as it says “Because of the mountain of Zion, which is desolate, with foxes walking about on it.”

Lamentations was written after Jerusalem was sacked by the Babylonians in BC 587. The final chapter of lamentations speaks about the restoration, as the temple would be rebuilt, with foxes playing on it.

Thus, for some Jews this speaks of the restoration on Jerusalem.

Bernie Sanders Pledges to Release Any Info About Aliens if He Gets Elected

"Will space aliens become an election issue in 2020?"

"Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders says he's prepared to disclose any government information about unidentified flying objects (UFOs) — but only if he wins, and mainly because his wife, Jane, asked him to."

"Well I tell you, my wife would demand I let you know," Sanders told podcast host Joe Rogan on Tuesday (Aug. 8), according to Fox News, even promising he would announce the findings on the podcast.

"In June, U.S. President Donald Trump — who will run again for the Republican party in 2020 — told ABC News' George Stephanopoulos that he also received a briefing about recent sightings by military pilots. "I did have one very brief meeting on it," he said. "But people are saying they're seeing UFOs. Do I believe it? Not particularly."

UFOs have to be made by God. Nonetheless, the Bible does not say anything about them. However, if we believe that our planet is unique and that God has created life here, we will take a more skeptical approach to UFOs and aliens.

Nonetheless, the Bible does not say anything about them.

However, we'll still waiting for the least possible sigs of UFOs.

The Biggest Volcano on Jupiter's Moon Io Is Super Active

Jupiter's moon Io should not have volcanos - but it does. However, the solar system's 14-billion years cannot maintain them.

If Io were really as old as some astronomers assume, it should be a dead moon.

But it isn’t.

Io’s volcanoes are active and surprisingly violent, suggesting that they could not have been spouting lava for millions of years.

Research on the volcanoes was published in the journal Geophysical Research Letters on August 8th.

Goliah Frogs Can Move Stones That Are Half Their Weight

Goliath frogs build their own nursery ponds. “They can move stones that are half their weight.”

The 3.3 kilograms (7.3-lb) Goliath frog lives in Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea, and it can move stones that are 2 kilograms (4.4 lbs) in weight.

It's likely that the male frogs, which are more than 1.1 feet (34 centimeters) long, use "their huge and very muscular hind legs" to move the stones", Mark-Oliver Rödel, curator of herpetology at the Natural History Museum in Berlin says.

The study was the study was published in the Journal of Natural History.

It seems that these frogs rely on what the Book of Genesis says after its kind.

The Earth Is A Great Place To Stay, Compared To Venus

Contrasted with the planets in our solar system, the Earth is a great place to stay.

While we might plan to go to Mars, Venus is Earth’s sister planet. only that its temperature is 370 degrees (700 degrees Fahrenheit), with clouds entire made up “by carbon dioxide and chokingly thick with an atmospheric pressure at the surface 90 carbon dioxide and chokingly thick with an atmospheric pressure at the surface 90 times that of Earth.”

As an article in Space, com tells us, the times that of the Sun was normal in the beginning , but “as the sun aged, that habitable zone steadily moved outward. And as Venus approached the inner edge of that zone, things started to go haywire."

This would also happened to Earth, with the snowball Earth still an unsolved mystery.

" As the temperatures rose on Venus, the oceans began to evaporate, dumping a lot of water vapor into the atmosphere. This water vapor was very good at trapping heat, which further increased the surface temperatures, which caused the oceans to evaporate even more, which caused even more water vapor to get in the atmosphere, which trapped even more heat, and so on and so on as things spiralled out of control.”

This is what the article also claim will happen to Earth – 100 million years from today. However, the faint young sun paradox mentioned above would have resulted in a snowball Earth, killing all life.

"Entrepreneur and talk show host Armstrong Williams donated a Watergen atmospheric water generator to the Greater Flint Holy Temple in Flint, Michigan.

The Greater Holy Temple became a main water distribution site in January 2016 in response to the Flint water crisis.

Bishop Roger Jones, the pastor of the Greater Holy Temple, feels the greatest gift was not the machine but something much greater: hope.

The crisis began in 2014 after the drinking water source for the city was changed from Lake Huron and the Detroit River to a less costly source of the Flint River. Due to insufficient water treatment, lead leached from water pipes into the drinking water, exposing over 100,000 residents to elevated lead levels. A federal state of emergency was declared in January 2016 and Flint residents were instructed to use only bottled or filtered water for drinking, cooking, cleaning, and bathing."

Now, however, the water is good and the Watergren apparatus is excellent.
