2 Physicist Question The Big Bang

Joel Kontinen

The big bang has had its problems from the start. In 1980 Alan Guth invented inflation as an attempt to solve the horizon problem caused by the almost uniform temperature of the different parts of the universe.

Now it looks like a new theory will surpass the old one.

“The Big Bounce theory was once thought impossible. But two physicists have just resurrected it.”

“Scientists have a really good picture of the very early universe, something we know and love as the Big Bang theory. In this model, a long time ago the universe was far smaller, far hotter and far denser than it is today. In that early inferno 13.8 billion years ago, all the elements that make us what we are were formed in the span of about a dozen minutes
.”

All matter was squelched so tightly that it’s hard to guess how this came to be, the big bang has all promlems with cosmic inflation and dark matter is still hiding and dark energy is also missing.

Moreover, antimatter is still the big bang’s problem.

Neanderthal traits still living in us

Scientist say that Europeans and Asians inherited 1 – 2 per cent of their genome from Neanderthals.

So, if you said that "freckles, red hair and even narcolepsy are traits that a Neaderthal left in you. They found, “that Icelanders had inherited 3.3% of their archaic DNA from Denisovans and 12.2% from unknown sources. (84.5% came from close relatives of the reference Neanderthals.)”.

Neanderthals. and Denisovans are our cousins, but they lived in the not distant past, just after Noah’s Flood.

Can We Celebrate Earth Day?

Joel Kontinen

Earth Day means taking care of our planet, It has no evidence who created us. But it has everything to do with nature.

"Just as humans are one small speck in a vast universe (thanks, Carl Sagan!), so too are we a tiny blip of time in the long arc of Earth's history."

The article mentions the age of the Earth saying that The past influences the future, that is that past events like the ice age will colour the future.

Found By Hubble, But Fomalhaut B Does Not Exist

Joel Kontinen

Whatever happened to the planet? It was bright and vivid in 2004, but then it vanished by 2014.

The distant world — known as Fomalhaut b and located a neighbourly 25 light-years from Earth — was infamous for being one of the first exoplanets ever discovered in visible light by NASA's Hubble Space Telescope; when astronomers first caught sight of it in 2004 and 2006, the planet appeared as a bright, cool dot moving briskly across the sky. Ten years later, that dot had vanished.

2A new study published on April 20 in the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS) proposes a solution to the "Mystery of the Disappearing Exoplanet" — and, befitting of any good detective story, there's a twist ending."

"Perhaps, Fomalhaut b disappeared before the Hubble's eyes, the study authors wrote, because Fomalhaut b was never a planet in the first place; in this scenario, the object astronomers saw in 2004 and 2006 was actually a colossal cloud of icy debris created by a recent, violent collision between two planetary fragments.

Anyhow, finding little green men on the non-existing planet is non-existent.

Iron Face Mask Found in Coal?

Joel Kontinen

Here’s how John D. Morris describes what happened to him:

"I was recently contacted by an older lady1 who grew up in the coal mining area of Appalachia. Her ancestors had lived in the area for generations, and she related how her miner father, now deceased, had made a remarkable discovery embedded in a coal seam—a human face made of cast iron!"

However, a genuine human-made artefact should be there if coal deposits are hundreds of years old.

Creationists know that nearly all coal seams, particularly Appalachian coals, were formed by the Flood of Noah’s day.

Here’s a video of the story.

New Story About 'Oumuamua interstellar Visitor does not involve aliens

‘Oumuamua is not from our solar system. What is it? Where does it come from?

Last fall
, there were no easy answers to this.

Astronomers believe this rogue increased Its speed slightly as it passed the sun and acted like a comet. It comes from either the red dwarf star HIP 3757, the sun-like HD 292249, or a couple of other stars that are missing a name.

Now a Sino-American study says it was probably a part of the larger
body of planets.

President Trump Participates in Easter Blessing for Americans from Oval Office on Good Friday

Joel Kontinen

In an Oval Office address Friday, President Donald Trump called on Americans to pray for God to “heal our nation,” before asking a clergy member to offer an Easter blessing.

“On this Good Friday, Christians from all around the world remember the suffering and death upon the cross of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ,” Trump began his remarks.

“At Easter Sunday, we will celebrate his glorious resurrection,” he continued.

“At this holy time, our nation is engaged in a battle like never before with the invisible enemy,” the president said in reference to the coronavirus outbreak
.

Trump then said he had high regard for the doctors, nurses and first responders who had taken issue against COVID-19. He also thanked the Vice President MIKE and his wife Karen and said he was feeling their support in prayer.

"He next invited Bishop Harry Jackson from Hope Christian Fellowship in Beltsville, Maryland, near Washington, D.C., to offer an Easter blessing.

The clergyman referenced the Passover story in the Bible’s book of Exodus, when a plague went through the land of Egypt, but did not come into the Jewish homes marked with lamb’s blood on their doorposts and lintels.

“Lord, let the death angel pass over,” Jackson prayed.

“Let there be a mitigation of this plague, this disease. Let medical science come forth. Lord, let us come out with a thriving economy.

How Fast Are Plants?

Joel Kontinen

"Scientists have revealed intricate structural changes within protein molecules called phytochromes to show how plants and bacteria perceive light.

Scientists have revealed intricate structural changes in plants, fungi and bacteria in response to light, according to a new study published today in the open-access journal eLife.
"

Which is better designed or its vase?

Now, it seems that the flower is better designed -it sphytochromes give it supernatural speed.

“The phytochrome allows organisms to distinguish between two colours of light, giving plants, fungi and bacteria primitive two-colour vision,” explains lead author Elin Claesson, a doctoral student at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden. “Key to its function is the initial response to light, where the light signal is translated into structural changes over a fraction of a second.

Flowers have other tricks that show they are designed. Sunflowers co-operate to get more space and more sunshine, eucalyptus sweats to keep cool and smart plants use a clever trick to avoid being eaten.

Gigantic Dinosaur Footprints are found on the Roof of a Cave

Image courtesy of ДиБгд, public domain.

Joel Kontinen

Did the dinos walk up upside down in caves. Obviously not. Even though the research says that they did just that.

NATURE NEWS has this article:

"A scientist exploring deep inside a cave in France has discovered huge dinosaur footprints, measuring up to 1.25 metres long, made by some of the largest creatures ever to walk the Earth.

The tracks were made 166 million to 168 million years ago, when three dinosaurs traversed the shoreline of a sea. The site was then at the planet’s surface, but geological processes have buried and tilted the sediments, and the prints are now on the cave’s roof, 500 metres underground.
"

Dinosaurs are not supposed to walk upside down, even in caves, a perhaps easier solution is found in this: the flood of Noah that brought dinosaurs everywhere. It was some 4, 500 years ago.

the Supermoon tells us about Creation

Joel Kontinen

The super moon is a phenomenon in which the Moon is closest to the Earth during the full moon. It may then look 14 percent larger and 30 percent brighter than when it is furthest from us.

Today, the distance to the moon is 356,509 kilometeres or 223,000 miles.

The moon is actually always a supermoon. It tells us about creation and the uniqueness of the Earth.

Naturalistic theories cannot explain the birth of the Moon. One theory after another has seen more than the light of the super moon, but it has always had to be rejected.

In September 2016, Nature published a study comparing the potassium-41 and potassium-39 isotopes of the Earth’s rocks and moonstones, finding that the prevailing theory of lunar birth is problematic.

Life requires more than water. For example, without the Moon, we would hardly have tides - and no life.

The life of the Earth depends not only on the distance from the Sun, but also on many other factors, such as a suitably sized moon that is suitably far away from the Earth so that the tides feed the life of the sea - and thus the earth.

Without the moon, marine life would die, and soon the rest of our planet’s life would also die, because here under the sun, few things are completely detached from the rest.

Recently, naturalistic moon theories also received a different kind of blow when it became clear that the surface of the Moon may be 100 times younger than previously thought.

Genesis is still very topical.

The Daughter Of Lucy Is Chimp-Like

Joel Kontinen

How can a skeleton become the daughter of Lucy which was discovered in Ethiopia in 1974. the current view is that it is 120,000 years older at 3.3 million years ago while Lucy is 318,000 years old.

The scientists wanted to take a look at this fossil by taking the only fossil of Australopithecus afarensis that they had.

The scientists wanted to take a look at this fossil by taking the only fossil of Australopithecus afarensis that they had.

Why is Lucy considered to walk upright? It is because the
Laetoli footprints that showed they walked.

While the Laetoli footprints have been dated a mere “400,000 years” or so older than Lucy, there is a huge logical gap between her and the footprints.

So they took” super–high-resolution images of the deformed skull and teeth of an A. afarensis toddler, known as the Dikika child, which Zeresenay Alemseged discovered in Ethiopia in 2000.”

The team zoomed in on the inside of the skull, where the brain leaves an imprint. They found that a fold in the tissue at the back of the brain, called the lunate sulcus, was in the same position as in a chimp, not a human brain where its position may have had some impact on complex mental function. Other features also showed “the brain imprint of A. afarensis is completely apelike,” says paleoanthropologist Philipp Gunz of the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology.”

They also found other skulls. “A second skull was of similar age and size; both suggest A. afarensis’s brain grew at about the same rate as a chimp’s, the team reports today in Science Advances. “

Hippo Poop May Help Ecosystems In Columbia

Image Courtesy Of Bjørn Christian Tørrissen, CC BY-SA 4.0.

Joel Kontinen

Hippos are unique if that their poop is full of nutrients that gets the riverbank to flourish. And they poop quite a bit.

In Columbia, "Pablo Escobar imported four hippos from America in 1981, for a private zoo at his hacienda near Medellín, Colombia. After his drug empire collapsed, the hippos escaped and have been breeding in the wild ever since, now numbering 80 individuals or more, Scientific American reported in February."

Hippos are one of the creatures some Bible translators have advocated in place of the Bememoth, in Job 40: 15-21.
