Denisovan Woman Gets Her First Portrait Thanks to DNA from Her Bone

Does this look like a upright Ape? Fair use doctrine.

Writing in live Science, Brandon Spector calls Denisovans (and us) upright apes. However, the picture of these apes looks nothing like an ape.

It is the same old story that happened when a scientist made a replica of a Neadersthal girl. It looked quite a bit like the ones we see now on our streets.

They made a replica of the woman from her bones.

Spector reminds us of DNA methylation. "Methylation occurs when chemicals containing one carbon atom and three hydrogen atoms — also known as methyl groups — bind to certain DNA molecules. While this binding doesn't change the underlying DNA sequence, it can interfere with the way that specific genes are expressed. Certain patterns of methylation can indicate whether a cell has cancer, for example, and can lead to anatomical deformities."

We believe that and the Neanderthals and Denisovans were people just like us, created by God in the beginning.

The Neandersthals lived in Europe during the ice age following the Flood of Noah and it seems the Denisovans where their closest comrades.
